The 41 year old Frenchman was addressing the media at FUFA House on Wednesday in his second press conference at the home of football in the country since taking over the national team job on 28th December 2017;

I observed at the CHAN 2018 tournament in Morocco that most of our players are good technically but still lacking on the physical aspect of the game.

When i took over the job, it was a short notice as we left for the tournament. We had two international friendly matches and played three group matches.

For the first half, the players were good but struggled as the games progressed. We need special physical training.

Desabre, who returned from holiday in France on Sunday has volunteered to assist local clubs with the physical development of the players.

On Tuesday, i watched Vipers versus Onduparaka at Kitende.

I saw some two players in Onduparaka who did not get a chance to be called for the CHAN team. I will continue to monitor the players in all the clubs.

I want to improve the relationship and interaction with the clubs towards the development of local football.
